Second National Meeting in Horšov
On 23 April 2014, the second national meeting was held at the premises of the school
boarding house of the Secondary Vocational School and Vocational Training School in Horšov-
ský Týn. The meeting was attended by representatives of all partner organisations from the Pil-
sen Region. The first part of the meeting focused on summary and evaluation of the progress
of the project so far. This was followed by a visit of a small farmstead close to the school boarding
house. The small farmstead was opened in June 2013 and it is used especially for the purpose
of practical training of students of the Agribusiness study field. However, the farmstead is often
visited also by children from nearby nursery and primary schools to make their education more
varied, in particular with respect to environmental education.
The second part of the meeting dealt with planning of the forthcoming fifth international
meeting on Crete, scheduled for early May 2014.
