First International Meeting on Crete
(10–14 October 2012)
The first international meeting was held in early October 2012 on the island of Crete. Four
persons from the Pilsen Region participated in the meeting (3 persons from the Regional Autho-
rity of the Pilsen Region, 1 person from a partner organisation – Secondary Vocational School and
Vocational Training School in Horšovský Týn). During the meeting, the Czech delegation mem-
bers were informed about the Crete region and visited the partner Cretan organisations – nurse-
ry schools, secondary vocational schools, the Environmental Centre and the Regional Directorate
of Primary and Secondary Education of Crete, where the education systems of both regions were
briefly discussed.
